The decentralized cryptocurrency exchange PancakeSwap warned users that starting March 9, 2022, it will limit access to its resources for countries on US sanctions lists. Due to sanctions, residents of Belarus and Crimea will not be able to use the services of this exchange.

Подобный ход от PancakeSwap связан с инструкциями Минфина США. В конце прошлого года Минфин напомнило криптовалютным площадкам о соблюдении американских санкций. В опубликованном документе рекомендуется проверять все IP пользователей и их геолокацию для выявления подходит ли пользователь под санкционный список. Вероятно, со временем, к PancakeSwap присоединятся и другие площадки находящиеся на территории США, которые ещё не обрабатывают пользовательские базы на санкции.

At the moment, PancakeSwap has warned that access to services will be closed for citizens from: Belarus, Crimea, Cuba, Iran, Iraq, North Korea, Sudan, Seria, Zimbabwe and the Republic of Congo.

When opening the site PancakeSwap.finance with an IP from one of the described countries, users receive a warning.

Since blocking is planned only by IP, most likely this restriction can be circumvented by using a VPN.
