BlackRock's IBIT increases Bitcoin supply by 6,470 BTC

BlackRock's Bitcoin ETF recently added 6,470 BTC to its portfolio after the cryptocurrency retreated slightly from its recent all-time high of $109,000.
On January 21, data from BitcoinTreasuries shows that iShares Bitcoin Trust assets increased by 6,470 BTC (worth $682.43 million) to reach a total of 563,134 BTC. BlackRock's IBIT assets are currently valued at $59.4 billion at current market prices.
BlackRock's IBIT led the inflow of funds into Bitcoin ETFs for three days in a row. On the same day that IBIT purchased Bitcoin, its fund received $661.9 million.
BlackRock's confidence in investing in BTC appears to be growing, especially after the cryptocurrency hit a new all-time high of $109,020. In fact, from January 16 to 17, the value of iShares' Bitcoin assets skyrocketed to reach $1.3 trillion.
